Am I the only one who has been going crazy for beige and nude colour pallettes lately? The winter whites phenomena is catching on for many good reasons. First off, beige and nudes are very delicate and feminine, adding that soft and ethereal quality to any look. It’s very subtle yet elegant and classy.
Secondly, it is a a new and refreshing option to the expected all black everything look.
It also looks great on all skin tones when done perfectly. Flesh tone outfits in nudes, beige and pastels have looked good one everyone from Angelina Jolie to Lupita Nyongo’o. I have been obsessed with pastel colours and it’s tricky to pull them off without looking washed out. So execution counts big time when wearing flesh tone colours and nude on dark skin tones especially.
One of the things that I love to do when styling my looks is layer two elements that are inherently opposite yet can still work together. After all, fashion is supposed to be fun and every now and then you have to try some new combinations.
So with this outfit, I layered a long open black dress that I purchased but was a size smaller and wasn’t fitting right, but as mama taught me,”never to let anything go to waste”,I thought using it as a throw-on would be a good idea,as you see,the dark blue jeans and the dress work well together even though they are opposites. Also, the front zipper bodysuit that exudes lusciousness is a great staple that can be worn by itself or as a layering piece.
If you stay or have been in my country(Uganda) for the past 2 weeks or even today, you then know how hot it really has been, that’s among the things I love about my country,is it right for me to say it’s always summer the whole year?😝😉
Anyway,The color of this suit is super luxe and sophisticated,it can make any one look good with out too much effort. The color is definitely a great addition to the look. The mesh inserts show skin in yet a simple way. A white swimsuit is the ultimate sexy poolside staple.
Style tip: Many plus size women feel uncomfortable rocking a 2piece bikini for fear of showing the tummy. Worry no more, a high-waist 2piece bikini just made everything simpler,or perhaps,u could also add a throw-on,on ur bikini and feel more comfortable, that way it doesn’t seem like ur just wearing just a 2piece.
So one of the many things i love about style is that you get to make it personal. Wait, you knew that already because I’ve showed you that😛! The best part about that philosophy (and the shared belief amongst all real lovers of fashion) is that there is no one way to make a fashion statement. Perhaps I could do this little thing where i challenge you to take a fashion trend and interpret it in ur own style language. It would be fan, don’t you think?
Style tip: Since the dress has more of blue, accessorising it with More blue elements makes it simple and elegant. There is something so effortless about having just one color,it makes everything put👌🏾. And of course the ombré lip is the ultimate sophistication,it makes the lips look really big and full and fabulous. Style is effortless! #EffFashion
Having the ability to look at something that doesn’t necessarily have “hanger appeal” takes training, lol First you MUST be able to envision what it will look like on…
When i saw this body-hugging high low dress from Zara, I immediately grabbed it because not only would it be uber comfy, it was going to be one of the items in my closet that I would wear all the time. It has such great possibilities because you can wear it to work or run errands around town looking chic,go for a date or hangout with ur friends
Style tip: I added an orange H&m crossbag to give my outfit a pop of color and make it more interesting.
